Nu? Nothin' much
I did survive for 4 days while Sheira went to a conference in Washington D.C. It was just Maddie and daddy time. The getting up at 6am was not the most fun I've had since we brought her home. Out of the 4 nights Maddie got up once at 4:15am and would not go back to bed. Although it was not my first choice I put Maddie down on our bed and told her it was time to go to sleep. Within 15 minutes she was out cold again leaving me some time to get back to sleep.
We were able to piggy-back Sheira's conference in D.C. to spend a couple extra days down there to see the National Museum of American History and the National Air and Space Museum. Although Sheira, Marlene, & I enjoyed it, Madeline did not seem to care one way or the other.
The other fun part of the weekend was seeing Seth. He appears to be doing well. I must admit he the most tech friendly apartments I've seen. It's always good to spend time with him.
Sorry it took so long to post.

Happy 2006!!!

Happy New Year to one and all!!!
For the 4th year consecutive year Sheira and I have had the fun and pleasure of spending New Years away from New Jersey.
- Ringing in 2003 - Antigua (our honeymoon)
- Ringing in 2004 - Sedona, AZ
- Ringing in 2005 - Guangzhou, China
- Ringing in 2006 - Jamaica (Beaches, Boscobel)
It's one of those traditions we have made that we quite enjoy. Luckily, the weather in Jamaica was gorgeous. It was about 85 and sunny the whole time. We all managed to get some color. It is nice to go back to work and have everyone comment how tanned we look.
As much as I enjoy the sun and the potential of living somewhere where there is a lot of it year-round I still love to come home to the area I love. There's nothing like flying past New York City and knowing what The City offers. We both agreed that being around our friends is also probably keeping us nearby. So for now we are very happy to visit the warmth and sun that other places offer and come back to the East Coast.
We wish all of you the happiest of what 2006 will offer.
Lots of love,
Sheira, Brian, and Madeline
