Weeeeeeee're Home!!!!
After spending our Summer in our bungalow in the Poconos (ok...it was camp with 200 special needs kids) we are finally home in our comfortable apartment in Parsippany. Overall the Summer went well for all of us.
Sheira seemed to enjoy camp. It wouldn't be a Summer at Round Lake Camp without the collection of stories about campers and staff. Too many to mention. Take a look at the pictures section and there are scattered pictures of the 'camp kid' - Maddie.
My Summer was relatively uneventful at Camp Nesher . Thanks to a long streak of warm and sunny weather it made dragging laundry, running errands to Wal Mart, and driving all over the place quite tolerable.
To summarize Maddie's apparent accomplishments this Summer....

To summarize Maddie's apparent accomplishments this Summer....
- Walking ALL over the place
- Says "ma ma" all the time and means it. She knows who mommy is and who to go to when I tell her to "go to Mommy."
- Drinks from a sippy cup and has totally forgotten about the bottle (she switched overnight without ANY problems).
- Can say diaper, uh-oh, shoes, ma ma, up, and kinda fumbles through twinkle twinkle little star.
- Eats everything with her hands (except really salty or sour foods) while holding the spoon, but doesn't actually use the spoon, yet. She is trying tho.
